• Evaluated planetary gears, harmonic drives, and cycloidal drives for performance and reliability
• Designed and 3D printed cheap and affordable quadrature encoders attachments for stepper motors
• Performed inverse kinematics to achieve joint angles based on a given location input
• Designed a custom PCB to control all joint of the robot

• Managed a team to design a water pump using a piston-cylinder mechanism powered by a BLDC motor
• Designed and 3D printed check-valves to direct flow of water
• Developed team-management skills by collaborating with colleagues as well as managing project schedule

• Worked with a team to design a gimbal for a phone camera with 2 degrees of freedom
• Integrated PID loop for each servo to maintain orientation of the camera
• Designed gimbal handle chassis to compactly house the electronics and easy-to-reach switches
Academic Project — Introduction to Mechanical Design

• Lead a team to design and build a 6-legged robot chassis with 2 degrees of freedom
• Used parallel linkage mechanisms to maintain footing normal to the ground for movement
• Designed and soldered a custom made PCB with input and output pins for better cable management
Personal Project
May 2018 — Oct 2018
• Created and soldered a custom PCB with a 5-minute delay-off timer circuit to save power
• Implemented variable fan speeds and the option to leave the fan on indefinitely
• This entire project was modeled and 3D printed and used as a means to combat the summer heat
